Will the World End in the Year 2012
Tuesday, July 14, 2009 19:13Predictions about the year 2012 have been heavily debated. Movies such as Mel Gibosn's Apocolypto and the upcoming movie 2012, have fueled the debate about the Mayan Calendar's predictions about the end of the world.
The question is – is all this hype about the end of the world actually real? Or is it just going to be a prediction that won't come true like how computer technology was going to fail in 2000?
According to an article I recently found, Tibetan Monks regularly practice remote viewing and have expressed what they think will happen in the year 2012.
These Tibetan Buddhist Monks believe that our world powers are set on the course of self-destruction that will start happening in 2010. In 2010, wars will range due to a disagreement between the world powers, resulting in a nuclear war.
Sad isn’t it? But there's good news - the monks think that there is hope beyond 2012 for those who survive the terrible wars that will ravage our earth.
The monks were questioned about the recent UFO sightings in India and China, and the monks replied that the divine powers are watching us all and that humankind won’t be able to alter the future to save ourselves from self-destruction. We just can't change our destiny even though we can in small areas of day to day life through the Buddhist teaching of "karma". This is the course of our destiny.
According to the monks who talked about their remote viewing experiences, beyond 2012 will be the year where the final frontier of science and technology is in the area of spirituality by extraterrestrial sources. Finally, people will learn the essence of spirituality - the relation between the body and soul, reincarnation, and "God".
