Be careful – the law of attraction works whether you want it to or not!
The law of attraction isn’t just a tool that you can choose to learn and use if you want to – it is more like a force which is always there, always working.
You can learn to harness its power and control it, but if you don’t then it is still acting upon you – it is still taking your thoughts and manifesting your reality, and yes, this includes the negative thoughts and patterns of thinking.
Be Careful Not to Sabotage Yourself
Going unconscious or semi-conscious through your life, blaming your parents, your teachers, society, circumstances, destiny or anything else, for everything that is wrong in your life, is actually more dangerous than you think.
You might just think it is a stress relief to vent off in this way, and you probably think that these things are out of your control – that they are bad things which have happened to you and you had no part of, but this is not the case.
The law of attraction states that whatever we think about we attract into our lives, and this includes thinking negatively, or thinking about all of the bad things that happen to us.
For example: it is easy to see that if we think positively, and we are happy, social, and outgoing – that we attract other positive people into our lives. Like attracts like. So on the other side of this, if we are always complaining about people, getting into arguments with our parents, and being negative, then of course, we attract more of the same into our lives!
Learning About the Law of Attraction Opens Your Eyes!
Getting started with the law of attraction makes you aware of the fact that you yourself have made everything that is good and everything that is bad in your life – and that is a lot to handle. It also gives you the way to change it for the better – or for worse – but it takes time and effort to change the way you have been thinking your entire life.
The law of attraction really does work, and you do need to be careful – but there is always a more positive way you can think to eliminate this self sabotage and make manifesting work for you. The basic rule to use is to always look on the bright side of life and to look for the positive in every situation, but here are a few examples:
How to Stop Sabotaging Your Manifesting Efforts
- Instead of being angry with your parents when they discipline you – think of the good times you have had together, think of the bigger picture of how they really do love you and want the best for you. This will change your focus from manifesting more arguments and holding hostility towards your parents, towards manifesting more happy times and cultivating love for your parents instead.
- Instead of thinking about how little money you have or earn – think of the money you do have, think of what you can afford if you really save, think of how you will attract money into your life. This switches your focus from feeling negative about money and attracting more financial instability into your life, to thinking positively about money and visualizing more money coming into your life.
- Instead of blaming your boss or the economy or a rival colleague that you didn’t get your promotion – instead think about how you do deserve a promotion, and that you will get a pay rise and a promotion in the future. This changes your focus from being resentful and de-motivated and attracting you into this exact same situation for the long term, to thinking positively about yourself and your self worth and attracting that promotion in the future.
From these three examples you should get a glimpse of how to turn things around in your own life – the kind of mindset which is needed. No, it isn’t always easy, but if you can think positive and look on the bright side of life then you will see much stronger and more positive manifestations and start to live the life you really want to create for yourself.
