Chakra Balancing Explained
Monday, June 29, 2009 15:01Understanding Chakra Balancing – Modern science has done its best to obliterate from the minds of people the existence and importance of spiritual being within the physical being.
The Hindu thought of life, however, has kept the flame of spiritual-healing burning amidst the advancements in science and technology.
In truth, our bodies are made up of seven primary and many thousands of secondary Chakras. Chakra is a Sanskrit word for Wheel of Light, and the theory is that these Chakras rotate and continuously send off vibrations in a healthy human being.
When the Chakras become unbalanced it will result in an imbalance in the body and health and performance suffer as a result. Because of this, Chakra Balancing is necessary to the maintenance of a healthy body, mind and soul.
The chakras can be thought of as “entrance gates” of the aura and the central points that obtain, convey and incorporate life force energy within the body. The seven main chakras are situated along the central line of the body “from the base of the spine to the top of the head.” These seven main chakras take in and then transmit energies to and from celestial bodies, nature, the universe and even other people.
Distortion in Chakras
If one or more of the chakras are blocked, the energy will not flow properly through them. Ultimately, this will mean that there will be an imbalance among the chakras that means there will be problems in every area of life.
The harmonious functioning of Chakras can be distorted due to a number of factors, like ill health, stress, unhealthy diet, exposure to toxicity, lack of exercise, inability to express emotions, beliefs incongruent with Truth, disconnection from a higher power, childhood traumas, cultural conditioning, emotional injuries, etc.
The Key to Health and Happiness Is Truly Found in Chakra Healing
When the Chakras are in balance it will lead to Health and Happiness. While the idea of Chakra balance may be considered utopian, it is something to strive for and most knowledgeable people will tend to attempt to strike a fine balance between the Chakras. Chakra balancing is responsible for the continuing belief in the ability of the body to self-heal.
Chakras influence our body shape, glandular processes, chronic physical ailments, thoughts, and behavior. Chakra balancing ensures that these parameters all work towards the goal of a healthy body, mind, and soul.
Chakra balancing usually has the following positive effects:
